INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarikei Hospital has main operating theatre which consists of 3 operating rooms, a recovery bay, a reception area, 1 changing room each for male and female staff respectively and offices for the Anaesthetist, Nursing Sister and Assistant Medical Officer in charge.<\/p>\n

The main operating theatre is located at level 2 of the diagnostic block of the hospital. It is adjacent to the Inpatient Pharmacy, Central Sterile Supply Unit, Daycare Unit and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).<\/p>\n

The maternity operating theatre which consists of one operating room, a recovery bay, a reception area and 1 changing room each for male and female staff respectively. The maternity operating theatre is located at level 1 of the inpatient ward block. It is adjacent to the Labour Delivery Suite and the Special Care Nursery Ward.<\/p>\n

The multidisciplinary day care unit consists of an endoscope room, a recovery bay, reception area, male and female changing room for the staff and patients, offices for the Nursing Sister and Medical Officer (MO) and 2 procedure rooms. The day care unit is located adjacent to main operating theatre complex and the Intensive Care Unit.<\/p>\n
