INTRODUCTION<\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Pathology Department, headed by Scientific Officer in-charge, shall provide the \u00a0Pathological services (Level II) which commensurate with the scope of service of the hospital (Divisional Hospital with specialist services).<\/p>\n

SCOPE OF SERVICES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. The services provided by the Pathology Department are as follows:\n
      \n
    • Chemical Pathology<\/li>\n
    • Parasitology<\/li>\n
    • Bacteriology<\/li>\n
    • Haematology<\/li>\n
    • Serology<\/li>\n
    • Virology<\/li>\n
    • Cytology<\/li>\n
    • Clinical Laboratory for Outpatients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • The Pathology Department also provides Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) for Sodium Valproate, Phenytoin, Vancomycin, Gentamicin, Amikacin and Acetaminophen.<\/li>\n
    • The Pathology Department offers Rapid Test Kits for Covid-19 Antigen and GeneXpert Covid-19<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
