Jabatan Perubatan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introduction<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medical wards are located on the Block J, K and M of the\nhospital building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Female Medical Ward (No. 22) is located on the\nsecond floor, East Wing of Hospital Block K. \n
    1. Male Medical Ward (No 23) is located on the\nsecond floor, West Wing of Hospital Block K. <\/li><\/ol>
      1. Female Medical Ward (No 25) is located on the\nsecond floor, West Wing of Hospital Block M. Starting from 1st<\/sup> June\n2015, all dengue cases are admitted in this ward. Total number of official beds\nallocated for dengue is 12, all in the isolation rooms at the back of the ward.<\/li><\/ol>
        1. Chest Ward (No. 21) is located on the second\nfloor, West Wing of Hospital Block J. \nThis has 4 rooms with negative pressure. \nSince 23rd<\/sup> January 2015, it is an active ward for TB patients\nonly.<\/li><\/ol>
          1. Medical Ward (No. 15) is located on the first\nfloor, East Wing of the Hospital Block M.<\/li><\/ol>
            1. Infectious Disease Ward (IDW) is located at 3rd<\/sup>\nfloor of pathology block next to mortuary. There are 6 official beds (2 negative\nrooms and 4 isolation rooms). <\/li><\/ol>
              1. High Dependency ward (No.20) – HDW20) located on\nthe 2nd<\/sup> floor, East Wing of Hospital Block J.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Objective<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                To\nprovide comprehensive medical care in terms of investigating, diagnostic,\ncurative and rehabilitating aspects, utilizing the available human resources\nand facilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                Scope\nof Services<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                1. To provide facilities for the assessment,\ntreatment, nursing care and rehabilitation of patients.
                  1. To provide relevant health education to patients\nand relatives.<\/li><\/ol>
                    1. To provide training for student nurses, medical\nstudents, medical assistant and allied health care students.<\/li><\/ol>
                      1. To provide statistics to Medical Record Unit<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                        • Cardiac Clinic \u2013 Wednesday Am<\/li>

                        • TB Clinic \u2013 Tuesday Pm<\/li>
                        • Hepato\nClinic \u2013 Tuesday Pm<\/li>
                        • Rheumato\nClinic \u2013 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Am, Wed pm<\/li>
                        • HIV Clinic \u2013 Thursday Am<\/li>
                        • Combined\nClinic (with O&G) \u2013 Wednesday Pm ( 2 times per month)<\/li>
                        • Echo\nClinic \u2013 Wednesday Am<\/li>
                        • Stress test – Thursday Pm<\/li>
                        • Visiting Clinic from Tertiary Hospital:\nNephrology Clinic, Dermatology Clinic, Neurology Clinic, Geriatric\nClinic, Haematology Clinic and Pace Maker Clinic <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
