{"id":259,"date":"2019-10-03T02:27:01","date_gmt":"2019-10-03T02:27:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/hsb.bm\/?page_id=259"},"modified":"2019-12-12T16:19:34","modified_gmt":"2019-12-12T08:19:34","slug":"pembedahan-am","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/jknsarawak.moh.gov.my\/hsibu\/pembedahan-am\/","title":{"rendered":"Pembedahan Am"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>General Surgery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Introduction<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Department of General Surgery\nprovides comprehensive patient care for surgical patients including urology,\nburn, plastic and paediatric surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The department comprises of the\nfollowing wards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Paediatric Surgical Ward &#8211; 12 official beds.<ul><li>Male Surgical Ward &#8211; 36 official beds.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Female Surgical Ward &#8211; 28 official beds (20 beds\n\u2013 Surgical patients &amp; 8 beds \u2013 Neurosurgery patients) <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Objectives<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To provide an efficient, caring, professional\nand best possible care to patients who require surgical services according to\nlocal and internationally accepted clinical practice guidelines.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Scope of Services<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Provision of round the clock in-patient service\nand facility for assessment, management, nursing care and rehabilitation of\npatients with surgical disorders.<ul><li>Provision of elective and emergency surgical\nprocedures\/operations, and endoscopic services (diagnostic and therapeutic).<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Provision as referral center for central zone of\nSarawak, initial management and stabilization of patients being referred to\nother tertiary hospitals.<ul><li>Provision of out-patient service through surgical\nclinics, including visiting subspecialties.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Provision of day of surgery admission (DOSA) or\nDaycare Surgery for selected cases (patient admitted to hospital and have\nsurgery on the same day).<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Provision of training ground for junior medical\nstaffs, UNIMAS medical students, SEGI medical students, Medical Assistants, Student\nnurses (KKM &amp; ITA).&nbsp; <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Provision of research in the field of Surgery.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General Surgery Introduction Department of General Surgery provides comprehensive patient care for surgical patients including urology, burn, plastic and paediatric surgery.
