Student Undergoing Elective Posting – Hospital Umum Sarawak

APPROVAL FOR ELECTIVE POSTING IN SARAWAK GENERAL HOSPITAL

Any foreign student entry into Sarawak, the normal procedure is that he/she is required to apply a Visit Pass from the Immigration Department and the entry clearance from the Police Department and the State Government.

For the above purpose, the following documents are required :-

(a) To return through JKNS office a duly completed Immigration Visit Pass – Immigration Form (Immigration Regulation 1963 Imm.12-Pin. 3/68)

(b) Three (3) copies of passport size photograph

You are kindly reminded that the Immigration Department will give you a Visit Pass of one month only and you need to pay RM90.00 (Malaysian Ringgit Ninety) once only. For further extension of your stay, you are allowed a maximum period of 3 months. If you need to extend your stay it can be done with the Immigration Department through Sarawak Health Department office. Please do not send any cash or give advance payment because the fees will be collected by the Immigration Department when you come in person to apply for such extension.
