INTRODUCTION

The Pathology Department, headed by Scientific Officer in-charge, shall provide the  Pathological services (Level II) which commensurate with the scope of service of the hospital (Divisional Hospital with specialist services).

SCOPE OF SERVICES

1. The services provided by the Pathology Department are as follows:
   • Chemical Pathology
   • Parasitology
   • Bacteriology
   • Haematology
   • Serology
   • Virology
   • Cytology
   • Clinical Laboratory for Outpatients
2. The Pathology Department also provides Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) for Sodium Valproate, Phenytoin, Vancomycin, Gentamicin, Amikacin and Acetaminophen.
3. The Pathology Department offers Rapid Test Kits for Covid-19 Antigen and GeneXpert Covid-19
